Episode 46 - Ropetree

June 22, 2018
"If you come to see us live, it's gonna be a good show.  I'm gonna sell you my f'in soul the best I possibly can.   These guys are gonna push it as hard as they can.  This album is the closest to that. - Billy Harrison Mielnik

One of my all time favorite local bands, Ropetree joins me at Canyon Music to talk about their new album, "The Saints of Asbury on Their Stone Pony."  My longtime pals share stories from the scene and give us all the info concerning the big CD Release Show at The Saint June 30th.  Tune in to my in depth interview with tunage including "So Bad" and "Empty" from the new record.

Episode 45 - WWE Money in the Bank 2018 Predictions

June 14, 2018
"Part of the problem was that that belt did need Brock Lesnar.  It doesn't have that Harley Race, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan lineage.  It needed a shot of legitimacy.  That's what Lesnar gave it.  But it lasted too long.  And everything has suffered as a result.  There is no upper card on Raw right now because nobody's getting near that title."  - Matt Widdis

It's time to make our WWE Money in the Bank predictions for 2018 with the BCP wrestling panel.
I'm joined by the human Wrestling Encyclopedia Michael Vacchiano, Jersey Campfire Production's Michael Camp, "The Anti-Smark" Matt Widdis, and former WWE Magazine writer and current The Pop Break.com senior writer, Michael Dworkis.  We talk possible cash-ins, title matches being absent from the card, and how the women's division is absolutely stealing the show.  Tune in for all our picks and music from local rockers It Lives, It Breathes.

Special Thanks to It Lives, It Breathes for the Tunage! http://www.itlivesitbreathes.com/

Episode 44 - Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son

June 11, 2018
"You have to make your own luck.  You have to go out and make your own opportunities.  No one's gonna come knocking at the door with a record deal.  The shit that happens in the movies, it doesn't happen like that.  You have to go out there and play.  I love it, and I'm trying to do more of it."  - Bobby Mahoney

How many Bobs does it take to record a Podcast? We found out as I'm joined by the up and coming local rocker, Bobby Mahoney of Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son.  I met Bobby a few years ago and since then he has really made his mark on the local scene. (And beyond)  We talk about influences, pre-show rituals, ego and our thoughts on the scene.   Keep it here to find out how Bobby felt about opening for Jersey legend, Bon Jovi and walking out on stage in front of 17,000 people!!  Tunage on this episode includes "Empty Passenger Seats" and "Called it Quits".  Catch Bobby June 14th headlining the Summer Kick-Off Party at The House of Independents.

Episode 43 - Deadpool 2

June 6, 2018
"If you look at that school, it's a great juxtaposition to Professor X's school.  Here you have a school where kids are tortured, not taught to believe themselves or trust in their abilities.  They turn into super villains.  And then you have the X-Men Academy where they turn into superheroes.      I thought it was a great way to pit Deadpool in between both of those situations."  - Jeffrey Masella

I'm joined by good friend and Deadpool Cosplayer, Jeff Masella to talk about one of our favorite movies of the year, Deadpool 2.   The anti-hero's second installment surprised us with a ton of substance among all of the humor.  We cover our favorite characters from X-Force, easter eggs, and talk about the future of the franchise.   Could we see a Wolverine/Deadpool team up or a Deadpool Netflix series in the near future?  Grab some chimichangas and tune in to hear our thoughts on more Deadpool!

Episode 42 - Solo

May 31, 2018

"It's a no win situation for him.  No, he doesn't look like Harrison Ford at all.  But what I did enjoy about his performance is that he comes in and really does his own thing.   In this movie he is a little naive, arrogant, cocky, and wide-eyed.  He's all that stuff that we want Han Solo to be before he is a little more jaded in A New Hope.  We know he wasn't always the Han Solo that was so iconic in the original trilogy." - Tim Urig

It's time to talk about Solo with the Star Wars Panel including Kate Ortiz, Christopher Francese, and Tim Urig.  Was this movie just a heist film?  Find out as we talk the movie's cast, twists and easter eggs, including it's links to Star Wars: Rebels.  We're pulling all the info from literature, video games, and more to try and rank Solo among the other Iconic Star Wars films.  Tune in and may the force be with you!

Episode 41 - Breaking Bad

May 11, 2018
He's got one of the best lines in that scene. He looks up to Uncle Jack and he goes, "My name is ASAC Schrader and you can go F@#! yourself!"  It was so good.  What a thing to say. He knows he was gonna die. Might as well go out like a boss.  - Max Orozco

We're eating some blue rock candy and talking all things Breaking Bad to celebrate the show's ten year anniversary.  I'm joined by Mike Vacchiano and Max Orozco (Vextion) for a complete character by character analysis.  Tune in to hear all of our favorite scenes, quotes, and fan theories from the classic series!

Episode 40 - Infinity War

April 30, 2018
SPOILERS AHEAD!!
"I think one of the most important parts concerning Thanos and Gamora is the flashback scene.  It shows Thanos trying to shield her from the atrocities that are happening in the background.  I don't know if it's selfishness on his part because he wants a child, or because he actually does care about this individual.  He sees something in her.  Without that scene the other scene where he's trying to get the Soul Stone wouldn't have worked.  You would think those aren't real tears  But you felt it."  - Jeff Masella

I've assembled my super group of creators and avid comic fans to talk all things Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War!
Tune in for some deep character analysis of Thanos and all your favorite heroes!
We talk about benching the Hulk, who's really gone for good, and what new heroes we should expect to see in part two. Plus, keep it here for ALL of the Easter Eggs you missed from special guest, Mr. Nando vs. Movies, Matthew Kelly!

Episode 39 - Guy Juravich of Spinbal Cymbal Spinners

April 13, 2018
"It was finally on South Street in Philadelphia that a skateboarder knocks me over in a corner.  It took that violent hit and me falling down for it to literally hit me. The skateboard fell right in front of my face and I saw the spinning wheel.  I knew that a skateboard bearing was 8mm and that was also the realization that most cymbal stands were 8mm as well.  Right then and there I had the idea to make a real functioning product." - Guy Juravich

Spinbal founder, Guy Juravich calls in to chat about his revolutionary cymbal spinners for drummers.  We talk about the inspiration behind the product, a possible Shark Tank appearance, and the importance of visuals during a performance.   Tune in to hear where you can grab a Spinbal, and find out what other innovative ideas Guy has in store for us!

Episode 38 - Wrestlemania 34

April 6, 2018
"I would almost rather see the Miz be the guy to take on Roman Reigns (if he wins) and beat him for the title, because I think the Miz has put in the work to be THE GUY in the WWE.  He's more ready than he was when he beat John Cena."  - Bill Bodkin

Episode 37 - Out of Bounds

February 28, 2018
"I wrote it about a relationship I was in that actually destroyed me for two years.  Every day I felt like a piece of me was being taken out, and I was drained.  It got to the point where I had to either sink or swim"  - David Rosenfeld on "Bleeding Away"

It's time to rock out on the BCP with none other than the boys from Out of Bounds.  We peep the new CD, Blacked Out and talk about the evolution of the band. We also discuss recording the album and the state of the local music scene. Keep it here for two new tracks "You Still Hold My Heart" and "Bleeding Away".
