Episode 32 - Justice League

December 9, 2017
"Steppenwolf was Ultron.  He was kind of a bland villain.  Steppenwolf was a Stepping Stone. (No Pun Intended) The movie is about the league itself.  He was just a plot device."  - Hunter Farman

This week on the "bobcast" I'm joined by Hunter Farman and Nick Zaccario from the Across My Mind Network for an in-depth character by character analysis of the Justice League movie.  We cover everything from the multiple directors to the box office numbers, while discussing the pacing of the two hour film.  Tune in to find out what we think about the future of the DC-CU and if we'll be picking up the DVD!

Episode 31 - Marissa Cohen of Breaking Through the Silence

November 21, 2017
"We want people to know that we are much stronger in numbers.  There's a lot more of us then there are of people that are assaulting, harassing, and shaming survivors.  Both men and women.  That whole team mentality and rallying together really means a lot."  - Marissa Cohen

I was absolutely blown away while interviewing Marissa Cohen, Author of "Breaking Through the Silence: The Journey to Surviving Sexual Assault"  and founder of Within Your Reach Inc.  Marissa openly shares how she was able to turn her negative experiences surviving Sexual Assault into positives, while connecting with and helping other survivors.  Tune in for a truly informative and inspiring look into the life of Marissa as she talks about her new book.

Episode 29 - Stranger Things 2

November 10, 2017
"I think that the writing on the show has been so fantastic in general.  But there's one crucial scene that gets you over the hump of Steve as a bad guy in the first season to more of a good guy.   The end of the first season, he says to Nancy, "Hey did you give him the present?"  And it was the camera.  So we don't know who's idea it was, but we think maybe it was Steve.  So that shows character growth.  Another scene in the first episode (season 2) he talks to Nancy about the future and he makes the comment maybe I'll go work for my dad and I could do all the things adults do.   I think that starts us on the path as viewers towards really liking him"  - Tim Urig on Steve "The Babysitter"

SPOILER ALERT!!  I sit down with Kate and the boys (Tim Urig and Michael Vacchiano) to discuss the Phenomenon that is Stranger Things 2. We discuss the exceptional cast with in depth Character analysis of Steve, Bob Newby, Eleven and all of your favorites!  The crew and I find a ton of 80's movie homages and discuss some not so far fetched theories of our own!
Additionally, we talk about the departure 7th Episode "008" and what we think is in store for our favorite Characters in Season 3!!

Episode 27 - Charles Laurita & The Mischief - Interstellar Fortuneteller

September 20, 2017
"So many bands go down that way.  A member left and that was it.  And we weren't about that.  Especially since we had the album coming out.   Everything we wanted to do and worked really hard on could come to a grinding halt.  But that wasn't even a thought." - Chandler Scales

Episode 26 - SummerSlam Edition

August 18, 2017

"You have to take it off Brock. The House Shows, the live shows, Raw, everything. The title needs to be there.
The other three guys are great. Even if you give it to Roman Reigns, I just want to see the title on Raw. Braun is a big dude AND he can wrestle. But I really think it's gonna be Samoa Joe"
- Michael Camp on the Fatal 4-Way Universal Title Match

The biggest party of the year, WWE SUMMERSLAM is upon us so I have gathered my biggest panel to date!! Episode 25 - Fantasy Football 2.0 Edition

August 12, 2017

"I've always taken a running back first, whether it's a standard or a PPR league, because I don't think the depth is there. I think you have amazing running backs and then I think you have just good running backs. You need a top five guy, one hundred percent." - Trevor Marden

Football Season is right around the corner, so I've gathered my expert Football panel, Mr. Tim Urig (@heyusports) and Mr. Trevor Marden (@btgtrevor) for this year's Fantasy Football edition of the Bobcast. We talk about Who's Hot and Who's not this season, while taking an in depth look at all positions. Keep it here for a "Fauxball Theme" by Kate Ortiz and a one of a kind multi-round mock draft.

Episode 24 - Spider-Man: Homecoming Edition

July 20, 2017

"Spider-man's not a gritty, brooding, dark sort of anti-hero.  Spider-man's a light, wise-cracking, fun character.   He has fun being a superhero.   Even though the reasons he does it, and some of the underlying themes are serious and sometimes bittersweet.  He's a fun Super-Hero. I think this is the first time that they really nailed that part of Spider-Man"  - Eddie Soles on the Spider-Man in Film

SPOILER ALERT!   I sit down with long time friend and avid Spidey fan, Mr. Ed Soles to discuss the first MCU installment of everyone's favorite friendly neighborhood web-slinger in Spider-Man: Homecoming.  We talk character development, Easter eggs,  and even explore the deeper meaning between Peter Parker and Tony Stark's relationship throughout this film and Civil War.  Keep it here to find out what we think this movie means for the future of the Spider-Man mythos in and out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Episode 23 - Kill Screen Games

July 13, 2017

" I had been into video gaming and collecting for a number of years.  I would buy games, collections, and whatever I could get my hands on.  Whatever I didn't need I would re-sell or trade.  Eventually I quit my dead end job and sold online full time, which we still do.  My buddy, Drew mentioned the spot in Asbury Park, and I signed the lease shortly thereafter."  - Phil Harding of Kill Screen Games

Retro Video Game Store, Kill Screen Games is celebrating their Three Year Anniversary in Asbury Park, NJ.   I stopped by the shop to talk to founder and manager Phil Harding about retro gaming, re-releases, and our favorite games of all time!!  Keeping with the retro-gaming theme,  this episode features music by Charles Laurita & the Mischief including "Paperboy Funk Jam" and "Saria's Song Slow Jam" (Outro).
